I am a licensed psychologist and neuropsychologist with specializations in victimology and psychotraumatology. I have clinical experience with cognitive and affective assessments, counseling and therapy. My current Ph.D. research project is a clinical, polysomnographic exploration into the micro-architecture of sleep of multiple sclerosis patients in an attempt to uncover the links between sleep, fatigue and cognition. These links will be further examined to determine how different psycho-social factors of the patient might moderate the manifestation of such alterations. The project seeks to further understand the underpinnings of the default mode network, following sleep, by examining functional connectivity and metabolic rates using MEG and PET/MRI.
