I obtained my master's degree in Neuropsychology and Clinical Neuroscience from the University of Grenoble-Alpes in June 2024. My interest both in understanding the mechanisms underlying epilepsy and in improving the management of this disorder was supported by a research project on psychogenic non-epileptic seizures, as well as by an internship in the Epileptology and Cerebral Rhythmology Department at the Timone Hospital. These experiences convinced me to pursue my doctoral studies in this field. I joined the laboratory in October 2024 to pursue a thesis aimed at demonstrating the added value of Optically Pumped Magnetometers (OPMs) for enhanced detection and localization of epileptic discharges. To this end, I will compare this new technique with various neuroimaging and brain exploration techniques known for their contribution to the diagnosis and management of epilepsy, such as SEEG, MEG and scalp EEG.
